• IP address and approximate geographic location
• Simulated trading history, orders placed, and watchlist preferences

• Maintaining your virtual portfolio balances, open orders, and transaction history

We do not sell, rent, monetize, or share your personal information with third-party advertisers or external data brokers. Your data is strictly utilized internally by our isolated microservices (Auth Service, Portfolio Ledger, and Notification Engine).

TradeX utilizes browser localStorage and cookies exclusively for critical app functionality:

• Authentication Tokens: Secure JWT access and refresh tokens to persist your logged-in state.
• UI Theme Preferences: Storing your preferred visual mode (Light, Dark, or System) across browser sessions.

We employ industry-standard technical measures to protect your data against unauthorized access or disclosure:

• Passwords are salted and cryptographically hashed with BCrypt.
• All network communications are secured using TLS/HTTPS encryption.

TradeX is designed for educational simulation and is not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
